A Magical Musical Journey for Young Families

At Rock-a-Baby, we believe in the transformative power of music for early childhood development. Our participatory class is designed to engage and captivate infants and toddlers, providing a fun and enriching experience for both children and their parents. Through interactive play, hand and body movement, rhythmic repetition, and improvisation with real instruments specially designed for little hands, we nurture fine motor skills, enhance coordination, and encourage self-expression. Our engaging melodies and songs foster melodic recognition and repetition, while sparking the imagination with pictorial adventures. With a focus on expectation and continuity, we create a sense of structure and familiarity that supports cognitive growth.

We understand the importance of appropriate volume levels for infants and toddlers, ensuring a sensory-friendly environment for all and a comfortable place for a child to connect with their grownup. Our programs take place in a clean and safe setting, providing peace of mind for parents. Join us for classes, concerts or birthday parties and embark on a musical journey that will inspire, delight, and lay the foundation for a lifelong love of music in your little ones.

My daughter who will be turning 3 this summer has been taking Rock a baby class since we moved to RI last year. It is my daughter's favorite music class out of all the music classes that we've tried in the area. My daughter can't stop talking about Rock a baby class. Teachers are very engaging and make the class so fun and exciting. Don't hesitate to sign up!

Rock-a-baby is the absolute best. I've been lucky enough to be going for TEN years! I was a nanny for fifteen years before having my own kids, and I started going to Rock-a-Baby in 2014 when one of the families I worked for signed us up. I had been to other young children's music classes before with previous families and this was so much better! After I moved on from that family, I signed my next family up at a different location. I now have a 3 year old, and 2 year old of my own (and one on the way), and I've been bringing them since classes re-started post-Covid. They LOVE it and it's fun for the adults too. My son even requested them for his birthday party last summer and still talks about it. The teachers are amazing, the music and movement are nicely varied, and it's just a very relaxed and enjoyable environment. I could never bring young kids to any other music class, we're so spoiled by Rock-a-Baby!

We love Rock-a-baby! They truly are perfect for the little ones (and even the adults) in every way! Every week, the theme changes and the kids are learning something new. My son loves it - it holds his attention the whole time. Their classes are honestly perfect for any age and we look forward to it every week. Don’t hesitate to find a class where they are playing next or even hiring them for your little ones next event!

Highly recommend Rock a Baby! The music is catchy for kids and adults alike. Classes are very well structured with a theme of the week, introducing a new instrument, time to sit and listen, and time to dance and move around. Marc Rachel and Benny are great, interactive, and have so much patience.

Rock-a-baby is our favourite baby class! We've tried a few other baby music classes, and while they are all nice, they tend to take themselves a little too seriously (I mean, does my 10-month old really need a 30-week curriculum that is longer than my PhD classes' syllabi?) Rock-a-baby to the rescue: this is a class that is actually FUN, for both care-takers and kids, whilst still exposing kids to a variety of musical experiences. And most importantly - it has great teachers, who are good with young children. Recommended!

I cannot say enough positive things about rock a baby! I’ve been bringing my daughter since she was 3 months old (now almost 2) and we look forward to going every Monday. Marc, Rachel and Benny are all amazing with the children and make it fun for the adults too! We’ve made great friends throughout the years. If I could rate this 10 stars I would!! Don’t hesitate and sign up!!
